Mike Huckabee goes on the stump Saturday for Ken Cuccinelli with appearances around Virginia to help boost the Republican attorney general's lagging campaign for governor.

Huckabee, who hosts a talk show on Fox News Channel as well as on radio, will be at a parade in Midlothian Saturday morning and then go to a rally in Goochland.

He'll attend a rally Saturday night in Lynchburg.

The former Arkansas governor, who sought the GOP nomination for president in 2008, recently told the Christian Broadcasting Network he was thinking about another White House bid.

He aiming to use his star power to help lift Cuccinelli's support as the latest poll figures show him 8 points behind Democratic rival Terry McAuliffe.
