A new advertisement scheduled to run on Sunday in Florida accuses President Barack Obama of pushing the Democratic Party to weaken the alliance between the US and Israel.

The spot – entitled “Whose Democratic Party?” – is sponsored by the Emergency Committee for Israel, a pro-Israel advocacy organization, the Washington Free Beacon reports. The move by the group is being described as a “significant ad buy” in the critical swing state.

The ad will air during the National Football League game between the Miami Dolphins and the Oakland Raiders. It contends that Obama has pushed the Democrats to embrace anti-Israel policies.

Following the Democrats’ controversial omission and contentious reinsertion of language in the party platform declaring Jerusalem as Israel’s capital at its convention earlier this month, the ad asks voters, “Is this still your Democratic Party?”

The ad includes footage of Democratic National Convention delegates vociferously booing the pro-Israel declaration. It then reminds Florida viewers that the Obama White House has on multiple occasions refused to state that Jerusalem is Israel’s capital.

“The debacle at the DNC signifies where Obama is going in a second term,” Noah Pollak, the organization’s executive director, told the Free Beacon. “The first four years have been bad enough, but what happens when he has more ‘flexibility?’”
