Huma Abedin, wife of disgraced New York mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner, has been given an ultimatum by Hillary Clinton's campaign circle to choose between her future with the presidential hopeful's 2016 campaign, or staying married to her serial sexting spouse.
The current issue of New York magazine's cover story
on Clinton says the former first lady likes to keep her circle of advisers small and safe from controversy.
But Abedin and her husband became the faces of scandal in July after it was disclosed that Weiner had continued to send young women lewd pictures of himself long after he resigned in disgrace from Congress two years ago.

"Huma has a choice to make," an unnamed source close to Clinton told the magazine. "Does she go with Anthony, or does she go with Hillary?"
Bill Clinton officiated at Abedin and Weiner's wedding in July 2010. The couple have a 21-month-old son, Jordan.
Abedin served as Clinton's deputy chief of staff at the State Department, and she currently leads the Democratic presidential hopeful's transition office.
The New York Post reports that
Abedin apparently followed advice from the Clinton camp in July to keep her distance from the scandal and her husband of three years, and quickly departed from Weiner's campaign trail.
Abedin watched the election results with friends in the Hamptons, not by her husband's side as his campaign slid in dead last in the Democratic primary.
