Tennessee Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn said voters have grown weary of the heated rhetoric among the remaining GOP presidential candidates and simply want answers.

“This race is really capturing the attention of the American public,” Blackburn said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “I think people are saying, ‘Listen to me. Don’t yell at me. Listen to me.’

“When the rhetoric gets too loud, it’s like I was saying, voters are saying…give me the facts,” she continued. “They want to be well-informed, and they’re seeking to be well-informed.”

She said Tuesday’s primaries are going to be tight between all three candidates, and the top issues all of them should be addressing are jobs, the economy, and national security.

“I think that the polling is showing that the race between [former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick] Santorum and [former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt] Romney is tightening up…and female voters are going to be about 52 percent of that vote.”
