Donald Trump leads the GOP race for the White House by double-digits, with Sens. Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz in a virtual tie for second place, according to the lastest Rasmussen survey.
- Trump earns 31 percent;
- Rubio, 21 percent
- Cruz, 20 percent;
- Ohio Gov. John Kasich, 6 percnet;
- Dr. Ben Carson, 5 percent
- Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush is 4 percent;
- NJ Gov. Chris Christie and former HP Executive Carly Fiorina, 3 percent.
Some three percent of the voters are undecided.
The survey was conducted before Saturday's Republican debate (Feb 3-4) and was done by telephone of 725 likely GOP voters. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percent.
