Former New Hampshire Gov. John Sununu sees four candidates with a strong chance to win New Hampshire’s Republican presidential primary next year, and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney is at the top of the list, he told ABC’s “Top Line” webcast.
The other three are former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour, and Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels.
"I suspect it'll be one of the four governors or former governors," Sununu said.
"I think Mitt Romney is at the head of the pack of four," Sununu added. His state holds the nation’s first primary.
Sununu has made it clear which potential candidates he opposes. That includes former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
