Conservative radio host Laura Ingraham says Hillary Clinton's criticism of President Barack Obama's foreign policy is very similar to Republican Sen. John McCain's condemnation of the president's positions.

"She sounds like John McCain. Can you tell the difference between Hillary Clinton and John McCain right now?" Ingraham said on "Fox and Friends" after host Brian Kilmeade said the erstwhile secretary of state reminded him of former GOP Vice President Dick Cheney, Politico reported.

McCain has constantly attacked Obama for his policies on such issues as the Russian threat to Ukraine, the Iraq insurgency, the U.S. troop reduction in Afghanistan, and Iran's nuclear capability.

Clinton, a possible Democratic candidate for the White House in 2016, appears to have suddenly started distancing herself from Obama on foreign affairs. She rebuked his cautious approach to global crises and said the U.S. doctrine has to go beyond "don't do stupid stuff."

But Ingraham said the president will not be making any changes to his foreign policies in the light of Clinton's comments.

"I don't think that Hillary Clinton's criticism is going to transform Barack Obama into a wartime president," Ingraham said. "The idea that Barack Obama is going to turn on a dime because the Clintons are criticizing him, I don't see that."

The Clintons and the Obamas are scheduled to be at the same birthday party on Wednesday night in Martha's Vineyard, according to Politico. And Ingraham thinks that there might a chill in the air that evening.

"I don't think there's any love lost between the Clintons and the Obamas," Ingraham added.
