Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee was the top choice of social conservatives in the 2008 Republican presidential primaries, and Minnesota Rep.
Michele Bachmann seeks to adopt that mantle next year. So it makes perfect sense that she has hired Huckabee's Iowa political director Wes Enos to serve as a consultant to MichelePAC, as
Politico reports.

That development coincides with the news that Bachmann garnered an impressive $2.2 million in fundraising for the first quarter, including $1.7 million for her congressional committee and $500,000 for her leadership PAC.
"The more money we raise, the more help we need," Bachmann's chief of staff Andy Parrish told Minnesota Public Radio in discussing the addition of Enos.
