There was no question the A&E Network would lift the suspension of "Duck Dynasty" star Phil Robertson because the show was too profitable to drop, according to Mike Baker, host of The Travel Channel's "America Declassified."
"The A&E folks, they had no intention of losing that show … It's the biggest moneymaker in reality TV," Baker told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.
"The idea that somehow they were going to stand on … some principle that they may have was kind of laughable. So this [end of the suspension] was sort of the inevitable end result."
Robertson, 67, was suspended last week after controversial remarks he made about gays and African Americans in a GQ magazine interview.
