Palin to GOP: 'Reload and Come Back Firing'

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has a message for Republicans: "Reload and come back firing."

The 2008 vice presidential nominee, speaking in a short phone interview on Sean Hannity's Fox News program Tuesday night, said America can't depend on Democrats in Congress, so it's up to the GOP to make America thrive.

"Please, folks, don't retreat," Palin said. "We better be reloading at this time. The Democrats in Congress are a lost cause. We must be able to count on the GOP to at this time reload and come back firing away to get this country to solvency, which is liberty."

Palin, who celebrated her 50th birthday Tuesday, also railed against leaders who don't keep their promises.

"We need leaders who keep their promises and won't back down and fall apart under pressure from the establishment, the left-wing media," Palin told Hannity.
