Katie McHugh, editor of The Daily Caller
, says Obamacare seeks to segregate patients and doctors by race and implies white doctors are racist, give better care to white people, and don't have any empathy for patients of other races.
"They're blaming it on white racism and they're saying that for some reason that white Americans are actively denying minorities healthcare in order to harm them. That's an extraordinary claim," McHugh told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

"They demand that colleges actively recruit minorities, they'll forgive their loans, they'll give them scholarships, and then they want to send them to under-served areas like other minority communities to be their doctors."
She referred to a Daily Caller investigation that cited a 2009 report by the Center for American Progress, which examined a House and Senate bill signed by President Barack Obama that advocates pairing patients and doctors of the same race.
"Research suggests that healthcare providers’ diagnostic and treatment decisions, as well as their feelings about patients, are influenced by patients' race or ethnicity," the CAP report reads.
"Several studies have shown that racial concordance is substantially and positively related to patient satisfaction . . . There is . . . evidence that race concordance — defined as shared racial or ethnic identities between clinicians and patients — is related to patient reports of satisfaction, participatory decision-making, timeliness of treatment, and trust in the health system."
"There's significant racism against whites built into this bill coming from whites. That's what's bizarre," McHugh said.
"I really don't understand why we have to make a big deal out of racial issues . . . In this administration, you have the government actively seeking to bean-count Americans and divide them up based on the color of their skin. That's just extraordinary."
