President Barack Obama's continued insistence that the Affordable Care Act is a rousing success will doom the Democrats this fall, New York Post columnist Michael Goodwin believes.
"I thought it was wonderful the other day that the president said Democrats should be proud of this law and run on it, you know, make my day," Goodwin told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.
"As I understand it, every Democratic senator who is running this year voted for Obamacare.
"So each one of them … should go out there and proudly say I stand with the president and I think it's a great law and I'm proud to have voted for it. Let's see who wins that race."

Goodwin doesn't believe any politician who supported the Affordable Care Act and is standing for election will defend it now.
"Think about what that tells you and yet the president goes out there and acts as though it's going great guns," he said.
"There's some huge disconnect here and if voters let him get away with it then democracy doesn't work anymore."
