NewsBusters' Noyes: Media Far More Liberal Than Their Audience

Monday, 27 Jan 2014 06:58 PM

Study after study continues to show that the mainstream media is unfailingly liberal, according to Richard Noyes, research director and senior editor at the media watchdog NewsBusters.org.

"This is a group that is far, far more liberal than the American public that they're supposed to serving," Noyes told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

Story continues below video.

"When they say that they're out there trying to be the public's eyes and ears on government, well, they're looking at it through the frame of maybe the most liberal people who live in Berkley … They would never vote for a Republican.

"They're for using the government's power to redistribute income and direct the economy. These are not majority positions in America … They're the only point of view if you're in journalism."
