Republicans mulling the 2016 GOP presidential nomination must not wait to begin attacking the policies of Hillary Clinton, syndicated talk radio host Hugh Hewitt says.
"I encourage them to begin to focus on the fact that Hillary is going to be the [Democratic] nominee in 2016 because [she's] carrying around a Santa's bag full of vulnerabilities," Hewitt told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

"We ought not to wait until the summer of 2016 to begin to fine her for the inadequacies with which she conducted herself in the Department of State, for Benghazi, for the fact she's the grandmother of Obamacare.
"Republicans can't be passive, and they can't wait for the game to come to them," Hewitt said Monday.
Hewitt, author of the new book, "The Happiest Life: Seven Gifts, Seven Givers, and the Secret to Genuine Success,"
said GOP candidates running for the Senate this fall must strive to zero in on Clinton's record.
"They've got to take it out there . . . This could be a great year for taking back common-sense conservatism to the country, but they've got to get out of their box and start fighting hard," he said.
