God uses the sun and the moon to deliver messages to the world, says Pastor John Hagee, author of the new book, "Four Blood Moons."

"God is using the heavens as his personal billboard to send messages to humanity, but we're not getting it," Hagee told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

"If God is using the sun and the moon to speak to us, what is he saying?" asked Hagee.

He explained that a blood moon is when the lunar surface appears to have a reddish glow. That happens because when the earth is between the sun and the moon, the sun's rays go over the circumference of the earth and hit the moon, causing the red tinge.
