The reason that there is a threat by the federal government to clamp down on conservative media personalities is because they are "too entertaining," says Eric Schiffer, Chairman and CEO of Patriarch Private Equity and bestselling author.
If those in the conservative media weren't entertaining and able to hold an audience, the Federal Communications Commission "wouldn't care," Schiffer told J.D. Hayworth and John Bachman on "America's Forum" on Newsmax TV.
"There's been this monopoly on the left with the media, and the internet has been this ability for people to connect with their audiences in a way that not only is consistent with the principles that everyone believes but is entertaining,"Schiffer explained. "It's working and that concerns a lot of people on the left."

The best way to protect the conservative media is to make sure that lawmakers are elected that are going to make sure their rights are protected.
"What you do is you ensure the candidates that believe that businesses should not have the type of regulation that goes on in this country are supported, that people that believe in the principles of capitalism and free enterprise and the principles that founded this country are supported," Schiffer explained.
The bestselling author said that you don't see the same kind of movements by conservatives against the liberal media.
"There's no one on the right side that is suggesting that the Democrats shouldn't be able to have their opinions and voice their opinions," he added.
"All that the conservatives are saying is that we deserve it too."
