Republicans don't trust President Barack Obama because of his "double talk on Benghazi and Iraq," but the real problem for the party lies with the contentious issue of immigration, columnist and CNN contributor Ruben Navarrette Jr. said Tuesday.

"How do they please the nativist wing of their party that wants to close the border with the big-business end of their party that wants to open it up," he asked Mazlberg, who shot back: "Nativist implies xenophobic."
