Don't rule out Mitt Romney's taking another shot at the Republican presidential nomination if Hillary Clinton declines to run as a Democrat in 2016, Forbes magazine writer Rick Ungar says.
"If Hillary Clinton runs, I can clearly understand why Romney would say, no, I don't need to do this again," Ungar told Joe Concha, guest host of "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.
"If she doesn't run, he could very possibly be looking at something," Ungar said Tuesday.
Story continues after the video.
The reason Romney, who lost to President Barack Obama in 2012, could do better for the GOP next time around?
"There's nobody out there more experienced now at running for the office; I'm sure he's learned a great many lessons," Ungar said.
"He has been on television a lot lately, and I'm going, 'Why? What's he doing there all of a sudden?'
"But many Republicans, not just Gov. Romney, are going to react based on what Hillary Clinton does."
Romney has been making frequent TV appearances to promote "Mitt," a documentary movie about his campaign for the presidency.
