Iran will "make a fool" of President Barack Obama in the wake of its controversial nuclear disarmament deal with the United States, says Iranian-born filmmaker and human-rights activist Banafsheh Zand.

"[Obama is] just kicking the can down the road, and they will make a fool out of him whether he wants to believe it or not," Zand told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

"Betters than Obama have tried and have tried for 35 years [to negotiate with Iran], starting with [Jimmy] Carter himself and [Ronald] Reagan, who sent [Ayatollah] Khamenei a cake and a Koran, and they put the Koran aside and fed the cake to the dog."
