The dumping of illegal immigrant children into cramped refugee camps in Arizona presents a "perfect opportunity" for Republican lawmakers, says Clara Del Villar, CEO and editor-in-chief of The Hispanic Post.
"This is the latest example of an unresolved policy and the chaos, now, that we're seeing and that will probably get worse without some type of resolution,'' Del Villar told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV
"I view this as the perfect opportunity for Republicans to start articulating a plan, an immigration plan that is realistic and enforceable and gives us a chance to keep track of who's in this country and what's really going on,'' she said Tuesday.

Del Villar points to Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, House Speaker John Boehner and former Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour as three leading voices for change in the nation's immigration policies.
"Whether they'll be accepted by the Obama administration or not remains to be seen, but I would say let's call Obama out on the unrealistic path to citizenship plans that they've put out and other ideas that really are not enforceable at all,'' she said.
"I don't expect anything to be resolved in the next few months or even perhaps in the next couple of years, but it behooves Republicans to put forth some sensible ideas, some reasoned ideas. Maybe put some dollars on what all these elements would cost.
"In the Senate bill, the Democrats wanted to provide free healthcare to all the illegal immigrants, the undocumented workers. That number would have run into the billions.''
