The mainstream media has shamefully ignored most of the Internal Revenue Service tea party-targeting scandal, according to Noah Rothman, associate editor of Hotair.com.

"They don’t really believe this is a very big deal,'' Rothman told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV, pointing to one recent conversation on the MSNBC program "Morning Joe.''

"They went back and forth and validated each other's beliefs that anybody who's pursuing this story is really on a politically-motivated witch hunt — that there's just no linkage between anything the IRS has done and the White House,'' he said.

"It's really just shocking how they've been able to devalue what's really obviously very real discrimination going on at the IRS.''
