Financial Analyst Steve Cortes: DC Regulations a 'Chokehold'

Financial analyst Steve Cortes tells Newsmax TV Wednesday that President Barack Obama’s statement in The Economist that CEOs “should stop whining about regulation” is off the mark.

“I would submit that the real job of a CEO is to employ people, create products and services that people want and need and by growing their companies to grow this entire country,” Cortes said on “America’s Forum.” “Their job should not be dealing with unnecessary, unpredictable regulation that is a chokehold from Washington.”
