Former Rep. Bob Beauprez: Border Crisis Is Obama's Own Making

President Barack Obama is heading to Texas Wednesday, but has no plans to visit the border because "he wants to keep his hands clean" of the crisis that he created, says former Rep. Bob Beauprez, Republican candidate for governor in Colorado.

"This has happened on his watch because of his lack of attention, because of his open border policies, and now he wants to keep his hands clean or at least his image protected from the reality of it," Beauprez told J.D. Hayworth and Morgan Thompson on "America's Forum" on Newsmax TV Wednesday.

"It speaks to the travesty that's become Barack Obama's administration," he said.

According to Beauprez, for Obama "everything is about politics," so he's able to carve "out time for fundraisers and yet he doesn't have time to go to the border "when this is a great deal of his own making."
