President Barack Obama is on an unending mission to undermine Israel — and blew a big opportunity to go after the terrorist group Hamas, former Republican House Majority Leader Tom DeLay told Newsmax TV
"The president of the United States is undermining Israel and stabbing them in the back every step,'' DeLay said on "The Steve Malzberg Show.''

"When this conflict [with Hamas] started, the first thing in their mind was, let's get a ceasefire, let's stop this killing — rather than this is an opportunity to go after terrorists. It's a big difference, and I'm just beside myself.
"I thought I'd never believe that anyone in the United States would try to undermine Israel trying to defend itself . . . I hope the liberal Jews and Democrat Jews in America understand this and will never forget.''
DeLay, a former Texas congressman, also weighed in on reports that Obama plans to sign an executive order that would grant amnesty to illegal immigrants in the United States.
"This is what the president has wanted to do all along. He wants these people to come over and he wants to give them amnesty,'' DeLay said.
"When he wrote that executive order to the Department of Homeland Security to defer action for [illegal] children that are here, that was the signal to Central America and anybody else in the world, if you get here while Obama is president, you'll get to stay.
"He wants to . . . allow these people to stay here and ultimately become citizens or at least stay here and work and stay here legally. That's what he's after.''
DeLay called Obama's rumored plans a case of "class warfare.''
"The guy's a socialist, at the very least, and I claim that he's a Marxist. He was raised a Marxist, his grandparents were Marxists, his mother was Marxist, his fathers were Marxist,'' DeLay said.
"They sent him to Chicago to be trained and educated in socialism. We all know that this president's a Marxist, so of course he hates those that have done well in the capitalist system and he wants to take from them to give to others. That is who he is. That's his world view. We shouldn't be surprised about it.''
DeLay said he was saddened to hear of the death of James Brady, the former press secretary to President Ronald Reagan who was severely wounded in a 1981 assassination attempt on Reagan.
"He was the nicest man you could ever meet. He really had a heart for whoever he was talking to. He was just wonderful,'' DeLay said.
"He and I disagreed over guns, but other than that he was America's hero, and it's a great loss to America that we lost him.''
