President Barack Obama’s decision two years ago to alter American policy regarding Iran’s nuclear program has endangered U.S. and world security, according to LIGNET  chief security analyst Fred Fleitz.

"The Obama administration created this myth that a reactor fuel-grade uranium is less dangerous than a higher enriched level, enriched to the 20 percent uranium," Fleitz said on Newsmax TV’s "America’s Forum."

Not true, according to Fleitz, who said it simply takes longer for reactor-grade uranium to make bomb fuel than the 20 percent rich uranium.

"So we're now in a position where we moved the goal post to the advantage of the Iranians, and they've continued to move with that," he said.

The United States is considering allowing Iran to keep between 2,000 and 6,000 centrifuges to manufacture enriched uranium for reactors, while the Iranians want 190,000, according to Fleitz.

"Two to six thousand is too many," he said. "Iran should not have any centrifuges. This is the position of the Israeli government, and I believe that if we have a deal struck that allows them to have any centrifuges, Israel may attack Iran."

Reuters reports that the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Russia, and China have agreed to reduce international sanctions against Iran if it reduces its "nuclear fuel-making capacity," which would ensure the nation could not expedite the production of atom bombs. Iran maintains that it’s enriching uranium for "peaceful energy purposes" and is demanding that sanctions be lifted.

Fleitz also discussed a new intelligence report that al-Qaida is designing an undetectable bomb that is likely to come through London. He characterized it as the "No. 1 national security concern."

"There are countries urging their nationals not to go through the airport in London because of concerns that there's a new effort to build this undetectable bomb, send it from London and detonate it over the United States," he warned.

The flood of undocumented migrants pouring into the United States at the Mexican border is also a grave concern, he added.

"The border's not defended. If all these unaccompanied minors can cross the border, so can older terrorists. I mean real terrorist members of al-Qaida, members of Hezbollah. We know there was collaboration between Iran, Venezuela, and Hezbollah. There's been Hezbollah operatives reported in Venezuela. If the border is so porous, and if it's being publicized, this could be a magnet for these terrorist operatives to try to make a move to get into this country."
