The White House's participation in the funeral for Michael Brown — the young black man shot dead by a white police officer in Missouri — is unprecedented, says Washington Times columnist Charles Hurt.
"The White House treated it like it was a funeral for the head of state by sending no fewer than three designated officials to represent the White House," Hurt said Monday on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV
