Columnist Ben Wolfgang: Obama Didn't Want To Make Iraq Decision

By Courtney Coren   |   Thursday, 19 Jun 2014 06:00 PM

Ben Wolfgang, columnist for The Washington Times, joined Ed Berliner on "MidPoint" on Newsmax TV on Thursday  to discuss the announcement by President Barack Obama to send 300 military advisers to help the Iraqi government fight against the insurgents.

"This actually is a decision he didn't want to have to make," Wolfgang said. "The president's been trumping up the fact that he was the one who ended the Iraq War and withdrew all American forces back in 2011, so this has been one of his chief foreign policy accomplishments in his mind, and now we see the whole situation in Iraq kind of descending into chaos once again."
