The Syrian regime appears to be engaging in further atrocities with reports of security forces executing Syrians who speak to UN observers. The military also reportedly is conning UN observers by halting attacks on towns in preparation for visits by UN observers, and then resuming attacks as soon as they depart. The Syrian population is becoming increasingly frustrated at the inability of the UN observers to help them end the violence.
