Scott Brown, the Republican former senator from Massachusetts who might run for the Senate from New Hampshire in 2014, seemed to forget he was in the Granite State during an interview after a dinner with a local Republican group.

Brown was responding to a question from a reporter in Londonderry Thursday about whether he was feeling pressured to challenge the incumbent Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, when he momentarily forgot what state he was in, Politico reported.

"What I've heard from the Republicans up here is they're thankful that I've been around for a year helping them raise money, helping them raise awareness as to the issues that are affecting not only people here in Massachusetts — I mean New Hampshire — but also in Massachusetts, obviously, and Maine," said Brown in a video released by American Bridge, a Democratic super PAC.

Story continues below video.

"I've been to Maine, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Connecticut. I've been all over the New England area, talking and helping people raise money," he added

Speculations of Brown's possible Senate run in the Granite State have been rising. The former Massachusetts senator dropped the "MA" from his Twitter handle over the Thanksgiving weekend. It went from @ScottBrownMA to @SenScottBrown.

He also created the People's Seat PAC in New Hampshire in October.
