Hillary Clinton is "delusional" in her glowing assessment of her tenure as Secretary of State under President Barack Obama, former Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania says.
"It's delusional. That's the only way you can describe it. It's just completely delusional," Santorum told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.
"It's like [President] Barack Obama standing up and saying, 'You know, you can keep your insurance if you want,' knowing full well that that's not the case."

During a panel discussion at the "Women in the World" summit in New York City on Thursday, Clinton said her time leading the State Department played a role in the restoration of "America's leadership in the best sense."
But Santorum said the United States' presence around the world is "deplorable," adding that Hillary Clinton must assume "the lion's share" of the blame.
"[The State Department] is probably the worst run and the least helpful to the American public department in the government and that is a very, very high bar to cross," Santorum said.
"There's a lot of really bad departments in the government right now that are not doing their jobs to the American public, but the State Department is singularly the worst.
"Not only do they do a bad job, but the way they waste money just shows you that they can do just about everything bad."
Santorum said that current Secretary of State John Kerry's Friday equal scolding of Israel and the Palestinians for the ongoing lack of progress in peace talks, shows "weakness."
"You have the secretary of state sort of being a scold, saying 'shame on both of you,' when he's not creating an atmosphere for decisions to be made," Santorum said.
"Somebody has to be in a position of losing something and we haven't created that dynamic in the Middle East and I certainly think this administration is not going to do that."
