President Barack Obama's half-brother George is making his movie debut in a soon-to-be-released documentary, “2016,” which has been produced by a filmmaking partner of Steven Spielberg.

The film bills itself as an inside look inside how Obama's past influences his policy making.

"'2016 Obama's America' takes audiences on a gripping visual journey into the heart of the world’s most powerful office to reveal the struggle of whether one man's past will redefine America over the next four years. The film examines the question, 'If Obama wins a second term, where will we be in 2016?,' the film's website reads.

"Across the globe and in America, people in 2008 hungered for a leader who would unite and lift us from economic turmoil and war. True to America’s ideals, they invested their hope in a new kind of president, Barack Obama. What they didn't know is that Obama is a man with a past, and in powerful ways that past defines him — who he is, how he thinks, and where he intends to take America and the world."

The movie, based on Dinesh D'Souza's book 'The Roots of Obama's Rage,' debuted at CPAC earlier this year.

According to D'Souza, Obama is not a traditional Democrat, and wants to use his power as president to eradicate colonialism from the world. His first step, argues D'Souza, is downsizing the power of the United States.

Obama’s brother was the subject of news reports during the 2008 presidential campaign, when he was found to be living in a hut in a slum area of Haruma, Kenya. The president’s sibling now reportedly lives in Nairobi.

In an interview with author Dinesh D'Souza, as seen in film footage that was released to The Hollywood Reporter, the president’s brother was asked whether or not he felt dejected that Obama has never offered to assist him.

“I think he has a family of his own. I’m a member of his family, but I’m over-age, so I help myself,” the president’s brother replied.

D'Souza followed up with a question, which invokes a biblical phrase that Obama often quotes.

“You’re his brother. Has he been your keeper?” D’Souza asked.

“He’s got other issues to deal with,” the president’s brother said in response. “He’s taking care of the world, so he’s taking care of me.”

He noted that when he was five or six years old, he met his sibling.

“I was just surprised. He [President Obama] is some half-white guy,” he explained.

George is the youngest of several children that Barack Obama, Sr. fathered with four separate wives. He shares the same father as the president, but not the same mother.

The movie “2016” is produced by Gerald Molen, the Oscar-winning co-producer of “Schindler’s List,” “Jurassic Park,” “Rain Man,” and “Minority Report.”
