As North Korea continues to make threats on a daily basis, including a new threat to attack the United States with nuclear weapons, U.S. officials reportedly are rethinking their policy of standing up to Pyongyang with demonstrations of military force. This could be the beginning of a behind-the-scenes effort to give North Korea a way out without having to make good on its threats.
