LIGNET Exclusive: Experts Warn of Risk to US After Kenya Mall Attack

In an exclusive interview with LIGNET, a former New York City police chief warned that soft targets in the United States are vulnerable to the type of terrorist attack that shocked the world on Sept. 21, when members of al-Shabaab seized a shopping mall in Kenya for four days, killing 67 and wounding hundreds more. Security experts say that beyond new tactics and training, U.S. law enforcement must adopt a new mindset to protect America from attacks like these.
