WikiLeaks: Mideast Countries Funding Terrorists

Mideast nations such as Saudi Arabia have as much to fear from terrorists as the United States. That’s because the terrorists don’t appreciate their wealth, lack of religious fervor, and, in Saudi Arabia’s case, its close ties to the United States. These nations have plenty to worry about because the terrorists are right on their borders.

mideast, countries, fund, terror, wikileaksBut instead of helping the United States in its fight against the terrorists, nations such as Saudi Arabia are giving them support or at least turning a blind eye as others do so, The WikiLeaks documents reveal, according to The New York Times.

Nine years after the United States promised to close the money spigot to terrorists, senior Obama administration officials say in the documents that millions of dollars continue to cascade to terrorist groups. And the United States' Mideast allies are doing little to stop it.
