Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi is complaining that the Obama administration didn't invite him to a nuclear security summit earlier this month in Washington. He says the snub hurt efforts to rid the world of nuclear weapons.

Speaking via video link from Tripoli, Gadhafi said Monday the failure to invite Libya to the meeting was a "political blunder" since Libya was the most recent nation to give up weapons of mass destruction programs. He said that not rewarding Libya's move with an invitation made it difficult to convince Iran or North Korea to voluntarily abandon their nuclear ambitions.

Gadhafi renounced terrorism and dismantled his country's nuclear, chemical and biological weapons development in 2003. He made the comments to a conference on U.S-Libya relations organized by the World Affairs Council.
