A United Nations General Assembly showdown between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is set to take place at the end of the month, with the Iranian leader scheduled to speak on Yom Kippur, Ynetnews.com reported.

President Barack Obama's address will open the General Assembly on September 25, and the Ahmadinejad’s address is expected the next day, which is the Jewish holy day of Yom Kippur. Netanyahu will speak the following day.

The Iranian nuclear issue will be at the top of the agenda of the General Assembly’s speakers, Ynetews.com reported. No votes will be taken during the assembly.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, British Prime Minister David Cameron and French President Francois Holland are also expected to speak, according to Ynetnews.com.
