President Barack Obama has spent a lot of time talking about his concern for small business. But out of the 22 members he named to his Council on Jobs and Competitiveness, only one runs a small business or has done so in the past, according to Politico
At a meeting of small business people in Cleveland Tuesday, Obama said, "Entrepreneurs like each of the ones who are here today create two out of every three new jobs in this country.
"So you’re the cornerstones of the community. You’re the sources of pride for working families."
The lone small business representative on the panel is Darlene Miller, owner and CEO of Permac Industries, a manufacturing firm.
Others come from big companies such as GE, Comcast, and DuPont.
