The killing of Iranian nuclear scientist Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan last week in Tehran is the latest in a series of assassinations and acts of sabotage that have struck Iran’s nuclear and missile programs.
No one has claimed credit and suspicion has primarily fallen on Israel and the United States, both of whom have denied involvement.
Alternative explanations must be considered. But in the end, there is just one probable actor.
