Every day on my radio program I urge people to stand up for their values. I warn them that there will be a cost , sometimes even a high cost , but that the quality of any culture is determined by what it stands for and holds dear.

There is the sad parade of mothers who hang onto their drugged-out, irresponsible, destructive children. Popular psychology has named these folks "enablers," in that they enable the problem person to continue their problem behavior.

I finally figured out the main problem with young people today: parents. For at least one or two generations, parents have required little of their children while giving them everything.

Over the years I have had many people call me out of concern that they are not crying over the death of someone close to them. They wonder if there is something wrong with them psychologically or if something is missing in their character.
