President Barack Obama was briefed Tuesday about a "credible" terror plot targeting several countries, including the United States. According to ABC News, a series of "commando-style" attacks were aimed at England, France, Germany, and the United States.

An American official told ABC that there was no information yet on a specific time or place of the coordinated terror attacks, which would've been directed at economic targets.

The source of this latest threat is Pakistan, intelligence officials said. Several teams of terrorists with European passports had been trained to carry out the attacks, according to a suspected German terrorist who had been apprehended earlier this year. The terror suspect told officials that the plot had been approved by Osama bin Laden.
