Hard to tell if former Calif. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger was using his workout attire to trump his soon to be ex-wife or whether he just made a bad wardrobe choice.

e biSchwarzenegger was spotted wearing a T-shirt that read "I survived Maria" while riding in Santa Monica over the weekend, The Sacramento Bee reports.

Gossip website TMZ.com, however, posted that Maria's staff designed the shirt as a joke when the couple was leaving office.

But first, TMZ questioned whether the the "Terminator" star was really slinging the "ultimate dis" at his wife.

Schwarzenegger and Shriver had been married for 25 years before announcing in May that they were separating. That's when Schwarzenegger also acknowledged fathering a child with the family's longtime housekeeper more than a decade ago.
