Former Congressman and “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough launched a scathing attack on Sarah Palin, calling her a “problem” for Republicans and a “reality show star who cannot be elected.”

In a column Scarborough wrote for Politico, he takes the former sarah, palin, joe,ScarboroughAlaska governor and 2008 Republican vice-presidential candidate to task for her thin political resume and her recent disparaging remarks about Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, and Barbara Bush.

Saying it’s time for Republicans to confront Palin, Scarborough writes: “The same leaders who fret that Sarah Palin could devastate their party [with a presidential run] in 2012 are too scared to say in public what they all complain about in private.

“Enough. It’s time for the GOP to man up.”

He concludes: “If the party of Ronald Reagan, Paul Ryan and Marco Rubio wants to return to the White House anytime soon, it’s time that Republican leaders started standing up and speaking the truth to Palin.”
