Legendary singer and actor Pat Boone is following in the footsteps of Paul Newman and launching a line of food items that will benefit charitable causes.
Newsman’s salad dressing, popcorn, and other items in his “Newman’s Own” products line have raised several hundred million dollars for charity.
Now Pat Boone and friends are offering Pat Boone All-American Meats, with a promise to donate 5 percent of all purchases to organizations at home and abroad that help feed and sustain those in need.
The mail-order line offers high-quality steaks and other cuts of hand-trimmed, perfectly aged beef; all 100 percent American raised.
“The best part is that, in supporting Pat Boone All-American Meats, the buyer can have the chance to gather the family around to enjoy a fantastic meal together, but will also support a great cause,” Boone said.
“A significant portion of every purchase from Pat Boone All-American Meats goes directly toward addressing world hunger and other issues. Additionally, through my non-profit, The Pat Boone Foundation, we’ll support a variety of proven organizations that are actively working to eliminate hunger around the globe.”
During his long and illustrious career, Pat Boone has been a top-selling recording artist, a TV and movie star, a Broadway headliner, and a best-selling author. During the 1950s, he sold more records than any artist except Elvis Presley.
More recently Boone has been a conservative political commentator and Christian activist. And he is no stranger to charitable causes. He has served as national chairman of the Easter Seal Society.
His non-profit, The Pat Boone Foundation, was founded in 1979 to aid those in need, and has contributed more than $7 million to charitable causes over the past three decades. Today the foundation supports more than 30 organizations.
Pat Boone All-American Meats guarantees 100 customer satisfaction and will refund the purchase price or replace the order if a customer is not satisfied.
