Release the photos already.

That’s the view former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin offered Wednesday regarding whether images of the bullet-riddled corpse of top terrorist Osama bin Laden should be published.

President Barack Obama said in a CBS “60 Minutes” interview Wednesday that he will not okay the images’ release.

Obama said there was no need to “spike the football” following the successful operation. And some analysts have warned that publication of the gory pictures could inflame anti-American sentiment in the Muslim world.

But Palin complained in a tweet Wednesday that Obama is just “pussy-footing around” over the issue.

“Show photo as warning to others seeking America’s destruction,” she wrote. “No pussy-footing around, no politicking, no drama; it’s part of the mission.”

Palin’s tweet appeared to differ somewhat from statements she made at Colorado Christian University on Monday.

In Colorado, she thanked the president for his “decisive leadership” in approving the special-ops mission to take out bin Laden.
