Sarah Palin has been the target of blistering attacks from the media, but there's one news outlet she loves: Newsmax.
On Tuesday, Palin took time out from her hectic schedule to chat exclusively with Newsmax about her new book, "Going Rogue: An American Life," and offer her take on the current political scene.
But, before the interview could even begin, Palin excitedly offered her unsolicited opinion on Newsmax.
"Thank you so much for your daily updates," she said, adding, "If it weren't for Newsmax, there'd be a lot of us wondering what the heck was going on that day."
But Palin couldn't contain her praise for Newsmax.
She continued: "It is very valuable, very helpful, and I appreciate all that you guys are doing to get a good message out there."
Newsmax may be something of a good luck charm for her.
Back when she was the little-known governor of Alaska, Newsmax sent a reporter to sit down with her for a one-on-one interview.
Newsmax was so impressed by the interview, its editors decided to carry it in Newsmax magazine and also feature Palin on its cover.
That story was published in the September 2008 edition Newsmax and was released just days before Sen. John McCain surprised the world by selecting her as his vice-presidential running mate.
The Newsmax story about Palin described her as "a God-fearing, gun-toting former beauty queen whose national prominence is on the rise."
It still is. Newsmax had the story first.
