Thursday, 30 Dec 2010 12:44 PM

While President Barack Obama was quick to congratulate himself for the accomplishments of the lame-duck congressional session, most Americans apparently don’t agree. Obama held a press conference before the vacation, bragging about his tax cut compromise with Republicans, repeal of the military’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy on gays and ratification of the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty with Russia. He called the actions “a season of progress for the American people.”
