A spokeswoman for GOP presidential contender Rep. Michele Bachmann is denying a Tuesday report on TheDailyCaller.com that Bachmann suffers from debilitating headaches.
"She suffers from migraines, and they’re under control with medicine," Alice Stewart, a spokeswoman for Bachmann told Politico Tuesday.
Most of the sources quoted in The Daily Caller story, which was written by 27-year-old Capitol Hill reporter Jonathan Strong, a former staffer for Rep. Dan Lundgren, R-Calif., are anonymous. The migraines resulted in Bachmann's being hospitalized on at least three occasions, the sources said.
TheDailyCaller.com quotes an adviser to Bachmann’s 2010 campaign as saying: “She has terrible migraine headaches. They come out of nowhere, and they’re unpredictable. They level her.”
Stewart denied that Bachmann’s headaches can be “incapacitating,” and described descriptions of her symptoms as “bogus.” She said she has never watched Bachmann suffer the symptoms described in TheDailyCaller.com report.
