Trump Seriously Thinking About White House Bid

Donald Trump declares that American officials are “the dumbest” for not demanding protection money from South Korea — and acknowledges that he is seriously considering running for president donald,trump,white,house,president,2012,south,kora,because he “hates what’s happening to the country.”

In an interview with the Fox Channel’s Fox & Friends” on Thursday morning, the real estate mogul was asked about his recent suggestions that he is mulling a run for the White House.

“I’m actually thinking about it for the first time,” Trump said.

“For many years people wanted me to run and I didn’t want to run. My company’s doing great. I love what I’m doing, but I hate what’s happening to the country.”

Trump said the United States should tax Chinese products to reduce foreign imports and create American jobs, and break up OPEC’s monopoly on oil prices. But he told Fox hosts Gretchen Carlson, Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade he would probably not make an announcement about seeking the White House until March.

Asked if as a businessman he could exist in the political world, Trump responded: “I think I can. I think if I decide to do it I can.”

He also said that in the debate over tax cuts, both Republicans and Democrats “are making fools of themselves.”

Trump criticized South Korea for not signing a trade pact with the United States, then turning to the U.S. for support after North Korea launched a deadly artillery barrage on a South Korean island.

Noting that South Korea’s economy is booming and the nation earns billions of dollars from trade with America, Trump declared: “Why don’t they pay us for security? Why are we doing this for nothing?
“We are the dumbest people. We have the dumbest representatives. You know what? They’ll do it. All we have to do is ask.”

He added that “China could settle this whole situation with a phone call. North Korea is petrified of China. But they don’t want to settle it.

“I look at the jobs numbers and I see what’s going on in China, where it’s booming. You know why it’s booming? Because they’re making all our products.

“They’re taking all our jobs. We are rebuilding China and our country is going to hell.”
