Former president Clinton, alongside wife Hillary and daughter Chelsea, will celebrate his 65th birthday this weekend while raising money for the William J. Clinton Foundation, reports the Hollywood Reporter.

The belated birthday celebration will last from Friday through Sunday and will include a Hollywood Bowl concert, brunch at Haim and Cheryl Saban’s Beverly Hills home, along with other fund-raising activities for the 10 year old foundation.

“I give him credit,” said Los Angeles political consultant Bill Carrick. “Clinton keeps working at it. People are still mesmerized by him.”
The weekend event will commence with a memorial service, open to the public, for Hollywood’s “first lady,” philanthropist Edie Wasserman at UCLA’s Royce hall.

Clinton’s birthday gala will follow the service at the Hollywood Palladium, with Stevie Nicks performing.

The festivities continue Saturday with a benefit concert for the Clinton Foundation that features musical heavy hitters including Lady Gaga, Bono, Usher, and Kenny Chesney.

The more private events of the weekend, including Saturday brunch at Haim and Cheryl Saban’s Beverly Hills home, and a round of golf Sunday with Clinton, are reserved for top tier fundraisers who bring in at least $500,000 for the Clinton Foundation.

“They are wonderful people,” Saban told The Hollywood Reporter. “They have dedicated their whole life to public service and continue to do so with stellar results. They are family to the Sabans.”
