Boehner: Don't Demonize Me

Monday, 25 Oct 2010 11:44 PM

Republicans are scoring great campaign success by attaching their Democratic opponents to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. House Minority Leader John Boehner warns the Democrats that trying to demonize him won’t work so well, The Hill reports. President Barrack Obama and other Democrats have assailed Boehner in campaign speeches. And Democrats have used his name and image in many ads.

"They can’t talk about their record,” Boehner said Monday on “The Mike Gallagher Show.”

“You know, this election is going to be a referendum on their job-killing policies. They know it. They’re trying to do anything in the world to change the subject, but good luck. They’ve tried all kinds of things, including demonizing me of all people. And I just don’t think any of it’s going to work."
